We had a blast exploring the beautiful Peak District from this cozy cottage. The well-equipped kitchen and lovely outside space were perfect for our adventure-filled days. The spotless cottage had everything we needed, and the provision of bread, milk, eggs, and flapjacks was a thoughtful touch.

    Felt lucky, no complaints.

Lovely setting even in the rain. Beautifully presented, warm and inviting cottage. Well-equipped kitchen and nice outside space. Enjoyed the provision of bread, eggs, milk, and flapjacks as a nice touch. Great walks and cycling from the front door.

No internet or WiFi, which made it difficult to book restaurants or be connected in case of emergencies. No phone signal on any mobile network, which was a major inconvenience.

The bathroom with a bath or shower was a total game-changer for me! After a long day of work, I loved being able to relax in a warm bath and soak away the stress. It made me feel right at home.

Personally, I found the shower in the other bathroom a bit small. But hey, everyone's preferences are different, right?

Our stay at Rose Cottage was absolutely delightful. The cottage itself was cozy and immaculately clean, with all the amenities we needed for a relaxing stay. The owner even left us a thoughtful welcome pack with milk, bread, and delicious homemade flapjacks. The location was perfect for visiting the Christmas market at Chatsworth, just a short drive away. We enjoyed snuggling by the log burner and exploring the beautiful surroundings. The bird feeders in the garden were a lovely touch. we highly recommend Rose Cottage for a peaceful and enjoyable getaway.

We really got our money's worth at Rose Cottage. The room was cozy and well-equipped, with underfloor heating and a wood-burner that kept us warm. The location was perfect for exploring the beautiful Peak District, and we loved the quiet and peaceful surroundings. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making our stay even more enjoyable.

Food for breakfast could have been improved by offering a wider variety of options.

We had a fantastic stay at a delightful cottage in the Peak District. It was the best equipped self-catered property we've stayed in. The cottage had a warm and cozy atmosphere, with underfloor heating and a wood-burner. The kitchen was well-equipped, the beds were comfortable, and the bathroom was great. The thoughtful welcome food package, including delicious homemade flapjacks, was a lovely touch. The location was beautiful, with great walking options nearby and easy access to other parts of the Peaks by car. We highly recommend staying at this wonderful cottage.

Great location - beautiful surroundings and easy access to other parts of the area. Good amenities in the cottage including underfloor heating, wood-burner, and a well-equipped kitchen.

No WiFi or phone connection, which made it difficult to book restaurants and could be problematic in case of emergencies. , the bed mattress was too soft for my liking.

The location was superb, allowing for easy access to nearby attractions and activities. The cottage itself was beautifully presented and provided a warm and inviting atmosphere. The owners were friendly and provided a thoughtful welcome package, including delicious homemade goodies. The well-equipped kitchen made self-catering a breeze, and the presence of bird feeders in the garden added to the charm of the place.

There were a few negatives that should be mentioned. The TV provided only basic channels and had a poor signal, which was particularly disappointing for the children after a long day of hiking.

Loved the free WiFi, great for scrolling through my social media and avoiding actual human interaction. Also, had a blast cycling nearby, because who needs rest and relaxation on vacation?

The nearest airport was just too far away for my liking, I mean, who wants to fly all the way to Manchester just to stay in a charming cottage? Such a hassle.
